Hello, fellow #ciderlovers and happy Friday! We are pleased as pie that this work week is finally coming to a close. It feels like October just ended and now Thanksgiving is already knocking on our doors!
The arrival of Friday means a new version of The Double Tap List, our roundup of the most notable and like-worthy cider content on Instagram. The #ciderworld has been full of activity this week with Cider Week recaps, flavors of the month and fun facts. Check out some of our favorites from November 11–17:

This vanilla pumpkin cider is so good, it just had to be the cider of the month! Flat Rock Cider Works re-released its popular seasonal creation on November 16 at the cidery and included free pizza! Pizza and pumpkin cider? Who could say no to that?!
Treehorn Cider

Way to go, Treehorn Cider! All veterans received half off a pint of cider on the day of remembrance when they presented a valid military ID. From all of us here at Cider Culture, we would also like to thank all of the men and women who have served our beautiful country!
Pivot Brewing Company

A “tankard” sure sounds like a lot, but John Adams was probably only consuming the equivalent of one imperial pint full of liquid gold each morning. Regardless, what a way to start your day. Thanks for the hard cider fun fact, Pivot Brewing!
Mountain West Cider

Clever marketing, indeed! Mountain West Cider has the right idea—cider certainly doesn’t have to be grossly sweet. With so many options now on the market, there’s a variety for even the most discerning of palates. Try some cider! Beer won’t mind, we promise! Thanks for the snap, @willwrite4wine.
Cider Week VA

Cider Week Virginia kicked off last weekend. Cideries and restaurants celebrated by showcasing the bounty of local cider that the Old Dominion State has to offer. Obrigado Restaurant in Louisa featured Castle Hill Cider in a cider-pairing dinner on Wednesday night. Guests indulged in a four-course meal including Chesapeake oyster stew and apple cake, all paired with some of Castle Hill’s best. Sounds delightful!
