Well Cider Culture fans, the weekend is here again and I know you are all stoked about that. Who else is heading to the beach this weekend?
It is time to celebrate the end of another week with a brand-new version of The Double Tap List, our weekly roundup of the most notable and like-worthy cider content that we discovered on Instagram in the past seven days. There is such a fun weekend in store for all the #ciderlovers out there, including fairs, anniversaries and release party announcements!

Oooo … so dainty! Look at these guys from Buskey Cider, enjoying afternoon tea! No, seriously: Buskey Cider is coming out with a new cider that will help quench your thirst in this heat and also be quite appropriate for your 3 p.m. tea time. Join other fans on Saturday, August 4, at Buskey’s Richmond, Virginia taproom for the release of its White Peach Cider Tea! (I am currently drooling on my laptop as I write this.) Buskey will be hosting its 3rd-annual 804 Day Celebration (get it, 804 = August 4) starting at 11 a.m. and running late into the night. Buskey crafted this cider with Cary Town Tea’s Peach Blossom White tea. I love peaches, tea, and festivals, and if you love them too, you need to mark this event down on your calendar.
Hale & True Cider Co.

There are “congratulations” in order for Hale & True Cider Co., as it was recently voted Best Cidery in Philadelphia Magazine‘s Best of Philly 2018. The annual guide, which highlights Philadelphia’s finest, is a coveted list for Philadelphia-based businesses. Hale & True’s Philadelphia taproom has only been open for a few months, but its cider is already making waves across the city. The cider, which is made on location, is a taste of Pennsylvania apple with hints of flair, such as Lil’ Sunshine, a taste of pure summer with hints of orange peel and local wildflower honey. The taproom has a fresh, welcoming aesthetic and offers options for the non-cider drinkers, such as beer, wine and cocktails, as well as an assortment of small plates prepared for the taproom by neighboring bar, The Good Kind Taproom. Well done, Hale & True!
Hemly Cider

This Sunday, July 29th, join Hemly Cider for a day full of family fun at the 46th Annual Courtland Pear Fair. This festival celebrates the Sacramento River Delta’s Bartlett pear harvest. There will be a five-mile run to kick off the day, followed by a full pancake breakfast, pear competitions and a pear-pie-eating contest! I can’t even imagine eating a whole pie, let alone multiple pies, so my hat goes off to those competitors. Hemly Cider will be on location, serving the festival attendees its locally made pear cider. If you’re in the area, come out and make some memories with your family! Cash is encouraged, and pets are not allowed.
Ironbound Hard Cider

If you all aren’t following Ironbound Hard Cider‘s Instagram page, you’re missing out — it has some pretty great posts! New Jersey-based Ironbound also has been working on crafting a new cider for the season: Summer Cider is available and going fast! Infused with brewed iced tea and lemons, this sounds like the perfect accompaniment for my beach weekend. Check this list to see where Ironbound Hard Cider is sold near you.
Levengoods of Lancaster

Levengoods of Lancaster is inviting all of its fans to join in for Levengoods’ “One Year Canniversary”! On Saturday, August 4, from noon–6 p.m., Levengoods will open its doors in Lancaster, Pa. for the celebration, with lots of activities planned. There will be 10 ciders on tap, music, giveaways and a cornhole tournament starting at 2 p.m. Bring your A-game because there will be prizes for the winners! Rumor has it that there will be some cider freeze pops available … I’m just saying! Best of all, this event is family-friendly, so feel free to bring your kids. Levengoods will have non-alcoholic beverages and freeze pops available for the little ones, too!
